Buxton is a lucky town. With firework displays being cancelled across the country for lack of funds or volunteers, Buxton & District LIONS are again looking forward to organising the town’s Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Event to held at the Buxton Cricket Ground on Saturday 4th November.
The event again will be well publicised – thanks to High Peak Radio, the Opera House, the Pavillion Gardens, Pure Buxton, the Advertiser, and posters around the town - to be announced shortly will be the arrangements for purchasing tickets in advance.
We are particularly grateful for the sponsorship by local businesses for various aspects of the evening - Tin Man will be our main sponsor this year for the Fireworks but as well many more provide either donations or their professional services in kind.
