Buxton Lions Duck Race - 2022

Buxton & District Lions Club last held it's Carnival Day Duck Race in 2019.  After two years of restrictions the 2022 Duck Race was back once again after Covid-19 on Saturday July 9th 2022.  

An excitng time was had by all, the Carnival was a great success and it was good to watch the procession and the dancing on the Promenade.   The weather was excellent and the sun shone brightly on us all day.  The water was warm, slow moving with a gentle breeze  which made for an exciting race.  Everybody was out in the gardens with the band playing until 7pm.  It was a happy day for all.  Thanks to everyone for the help in making the Carnival a great day out and back in town for all to enjoy.
